Liferay, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise open-source portal and collaboration software, faced challenges in ASEAN despite strong product recognition. Its partner ecosystem was limited, hindering regional penetration. Liferay sought evidence to build a business case for direct presence and needed support to jump-start operations in the region. Arnaud was contracted to drive awareness and build a foundation for growth. An awareness campaign in Singapore positioned Liferay’s value proposition, gathering insights from over 50 key stakeholders. Growth pockets were identified, and new value-added resellers were onboarded and trained. Within nine months, Arnaud helped establish a solid sales pipeline, onboard three resellers in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, and facilitated strategic discussions with Tier-1 system integrators. Atlantis Computing, a leader in software-defined storage, offers Atlantis USX, a high-performance, cost-effective solution for virtualized workloads. Despite its success in the US and EMEA, introducing the technology in Asia presented challenges, including reluctance from customers to adopt new technologies and limited partner resources. Arnaud was contracted to jump-start Atlantis Computing’s Asian business. Using the Sales Acceleration Framework, Arnaud established routes to market across Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam. Key global partnerships with Cisco, IBM, Lenovo, HP, VMware, and Citrix were leveraged to secure initial customers, including major institutions in Singapore, China, and Thailand. A comprehensive investment and execution plan was developed for Atlantis Computing’s Asian expansion.
